Hi, I’m Mia.

I’m a learning designer who believes effective learning starts with understanding the learner.

I take an empathetic, learner-centred approach to understanding what people already know, the experiences they bring with them and what they need to achieve. I translate that insight into purposeful, accessible and engaging learning experiences that meet learners where they are, while supporting meaningful outcomes for the organisation or client.

With a background in education and instructional design, I work across the full learning design process, from understanding the learning need and shaping the approach through to designing, prototyping and developing eLearning, simulations and scenario-based experiences.

I’m also exploring the responsible use of AI in learning design, identifying where it can improve efficiency and help create richer, more interactive experiences, while recognising where human judgement, creativity and connection remain essential.
